Coming Soon – The Power of Emotional Stability: Bridging the divide with self-awareness

While most people would prefer to live a peaceful life, there seems to be no escape from conflict. History shows there has been no shortage throughout the course of time. What keeps humans at odds could be thought of as good versus evil or right versus wrong but in actuality isn’t it more the disagreement about how we choose to sort things into those categories. Humanity has long looked to various sources for a higher power when seeking those answers; could it be we’ve just been looking in the wrong place all along. What if we’ve discounted and been distracted from the exact place the answers can be found.

At the time of this writing people are astonishingly divided with each side looking to the other with utter disbelief and dismay. What had once been a back-and-forth dance of ideals moderated by decorum that degraded into an all-out campaign for total control has eroded into something more akin to a junkyard throwdown.

For me, the most glaring difference is the decline in the levels of emotional competency. We are subjected to grade school levels of immaturity across the world stage on the highest platforms and the media can’t get enough of the dysfunction. The current largest threat to humanity is the lack of emotional maturity and stability and those who possess the least are doing the greatest harm. Emotions and our internal connection to intuition are what link us to our own humanity and without that there is no empathy, without empathy other people become objects, no longer seen as human. Connection has been lost to transaction, where people are pawns in a game for the most capital, power and control. Emotional immaturity on display, desperately clawing its way into fulfilling the dream of the least competent to become the norm.

We must embrace a much deeper understanding of the importance of emotions because we desperately need to, they are a thread that runs through all aspects of life. We must look deeper than EQ because we need more than the fundamental knowledge about emotions. We need to experience them fully for ourselves in the form of emotional self-awareness and learn how to manage them on a daily basis to overcome the consequences of ignoring our inner selves.  Emotional well-being, or lack of, is being tied to all forms of aliments, disorders, and disease. And from the social aspect with humanity on the verge of full oppression and collapse, we must take our understanding further and grow up emotionally to become internally empowered, because empowered people don’t seek external control. We must become emotionally stable in our ability to manage ourselves and our own actions within a competent society and world because emotionally stable people don’t seek to create dictatorships.

There are many things that have conspired in our history to get us here and many people who are doing all they can to take advantage of those circumstances. Our best way forward is with emotionally self-aware individuals, emotionally mature guidance and emotionally stable leadership.

Sometimes it takes the very worst to bring about change. Humanity is teetering right next to rock bottom and the lessons for us all to gain clarity are hitting us rapidly now. The Power of Emotional Stability will examine those lessons and hopefully become a guide in resolving the disagreements that divide humanity by utilizing our most powerful asset, our emotional selves.
