How does trauma make its way to the subconscious mind?

It’s not that trauma makes its way there.

The unresolved feelings of pain, fear, or doubt from the trauma get stored in the subconscious because it has nowhere else to go.

The subconscious then sorts these out into various insecurities and false beliefs which drive our functionality in life.

Much remains deeply hidden unless you do a very deep dive into it via hypnotherapy. I’ve done 10 years of this exact work.

The repressed emotions create anxiety and or depression which we then implement behaviors like distraction, avoidance and addiction in order to cope.

Compulsive behaviors happen when something in the present awakens a reminder of the repressed emotions and we become triggered.
